Building a Stronger, Fairer Economy

Building a stronger, fairer economy that works for everyone will increase opportunity, encourage innovation, reduce inequality, protect the planet, and allow local businesses to thrive.

Expanding broadband connectivity will address the digital divide, supporting telemedicine, distance learning, and greater economic growth and opportunity.

Building new infrastructure for more sustainable tourism will help create a smarter visitor industry with less social and environmental impact and more investment in and benefit to the people of Hawaii and our environment.

Finally, we will work to reduce fossil fuel consumption and carbon pollution by raising emissions and efficiency standards to a level that leads the nation, invest in green energy industries and technologies and make Hawaii a leader in renewable energy, and create new jobs.
